      ABSTRAK:



      THIS THESIS DISCUSSES THE INFLUENCE BETWEEN COMPETENCY AND
      JOB SATISFACTION ON THE QUALITY OF SERVICE PROVIDED TO MUSEUM VISITORS IN THE
      AREA OF TAMAN MINI INDONESIA INDAH.THIS RESEARCH IS A QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH,
      WHICH USES QUESTIONNAIRE AS THE DATA COLLECTION TOOL. THIS STUDY DISTINGUISHES
      BETWEEN THE RESULTS OF GOVERNMENT–OWNED MUSEUMS AND TMII-OWNED MUSEUM BECAUSE
      THERE ARE DIFFERENCES IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES IN BETWEEN. THE
      RESULTS OF THIS STUDY INDICATE THAT EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION SIGNIFICANTLY
      INFLUENCE THE SERVICE QUALITY BOTH IN THE GOVERNMENT OWNED MUSEUM, THE
      tmii-OWNED MUSEUM, AND THE TOTAL OF THE TWO
